transmission rate
seems to be too low ì If possible, position your Gigaset USB Adapter 54 closer to
the access point or remove any obstacles blocking the line
of sight.
ì Then realign the Gigaset USB Adapter 54 and access point
antenna.
ì You can try changing the Gigaset USB Adapter 54
transmission mode to 802.11g. Remember to change the
transmission mode setting on the access point first.
ì Try using a different channel. Remember to change the
channel setting on the access point.
The Gigaset USB
Adapter 54 does
not work properly You have checked all of the causes specified above, and still no
communication is possible.
ì Deinstall the software and install it again as described in
Chapter "Installing the Gigaset USB Adapter 54" on page 7.
All measures had
no effect It is possible that there is a fault in the software. Check on our
website at www.siemens.com/gigasetusbadapter54 if a newer
version of the software is available. Proceed as has been
described in Chapter "Updating device drivers" on page 34.
