Setting the Picture Quality

Use the Quality setting to select a picture resolution. Picture resolution refers
to the number of pixels that make up an image. The higher the resolution, the
better the picture. All of the resolution settings result in compressed JPEG files.

m If the quality of your pictures is most important, use the

Best Quality setting, which results in little compression.

m If space on your memory card is most important,

use the Good or Better quality settings, which result in
more compression.

1 With the camera on, set the mode dial

to Setup.

2 Press a

button until Quality is

highlighted.

3 Press the OK button to display the

Quality screen.
