Formatting a Memory Card
You may need to format a memory card if the card becomes corrupted. When
this happens, an error message appears on the LCD. See page 45 for
more detail.
CAUTION:
Formatting the memory card deletes everything on
the memory card.
1 With the camera on, turn the Mode Dial
to Setup.
2 Press a button until Format
is highlighted.
3 Press the OK button to display the Format
Card screen.
4 Press a button to highlight Yes or No.
m Yes—erases all of the information on
the card and formats the memory card
for use in the camera.
m No—exits without making a change.
5 Press the OK button to accept your choice.
