Understanding screen icons

These icons may appear on your phone screen:

The phone is operating in CDMA digital
mode. If

does not appear, the phone

is operating in analog mode.
The phone is receiving a signal. You can
make and receive calls. Fewer bars
indicate a weaker signal.
The phone is not receiving a signal. You
cannot make or receive calls.
A call is in progress.
The alarm clock is set.

The phone vibrates instead of ringing.

The phone is roaming outside of its home
service area.
You have a text message, voicemail, or
page. (

indicates an urgent text

message, voicemail, or page.)
The battery is fully charged. The more
black bars, the greater the charge.
The battery charge is extremely low. When
this icon blinks, power will be lost soon.

Enhanced CDMA voice privacy is on, if
available from your service provider,

or

you are in a secure web browser session.
