Making and Answering Calls
Setting Open to Answer
The default setting on your phone requires you to slide it open and press
to answer an incoming call. You can set the phone to answer as soon as
you open it.
1. Select Menu
→
Settings
→
Convenience
→
Open to Answer.
2. Select Enabled.
Calling Emergency services
Note: Regardless of your three-digit emergency code (911, 111, 000, 999,
etc.) your phone will operate as described below.

Dial your emergency code and press
.
You can call the code even if your phone is locked or your account is
restricted. When you call, your phone enters Emergency mode. This enables
the emergency service exclusive access to your phone to call you back, if
necessary. To make or receive regular calls after dialing the code, you must
exit this mode.
