Synchronize Contacts With Gmail
1. From the Contacts screen, touch Menu >
Edit sync groups.
2. Select the check box of the following
options to enable synchronization:
• Sync all contacts: Touch to
synchronize contacts on your phone
and Gmail.
• My Contacts: Touch to synchronize
with My Contacts on your phone and
Gmail.
• Starred in Android: Touch to
synchronize Starred on Gmail and
Favorites on your phone.
Note: See “Data Synchronization” on page 93
to synchronize your data.
Use Favorites
You can set frequently-called contacts as
Favorites.
View Favorites
To view Favorites, press the Send key, then
touch Favorites tab.
Add Contacts to Favorites
1. From the Contacts screen, touch and hold
the contact name to open the options menu.
2. Touch Add to favorites.
-or-
1. From the Contacts screen, touch the
contact name to display the detail screen.
2. Touch a star mark at the right of the name.
If the star turns orange, the contact is added
to Favorites.
Call Favorites Contacts
1. From the Favorites screen, touch and hold
the contact name to open the options menu.
2. Touch Call.
Send Message to Contacts
1. From the Favorites screen, touch and hold
the contact name to open the options menu.
2. Touch Send SMS/MMS.
3. Compose your message.
• To attach pictures, video, or audio, touch
Menu > Attach, touch the type of file,
then the file to attach.
4. Touch Send.
Remove From Favorites
1. From the Favorites screen, touch and hold
the contact name to open the options menu.
2. Touch Remove from favorites.
