Direct Print Menu
These settings are overridden by any settings configured within the digital
camera.
For details on direct printing, refer to “Direct Printing” on page 38.

IMAGE
QUALITY Settings DRAFT / NORMAL / FINE
Specifies the resolution of the printed image. There are three
settings:
DRAFT (600 × 600 dpi), NORMAL (1200 × 600 dpi),
and FINE (2400 × 600 dpi).
If additional memory of 128 MB or more is not installed, only
DRAFT (600 × 600 dpi) is available.
PAPER
SIZE Settings LETTER / A4 / A5 / STATEMENT /
J-POSTCARD/ PHOTO SIZE 4x6” /
PHOTO SIZE 10x15 / LTR 2-UP
4x6 / A4 4-UP L SIZE / A4 2-UP

Specifies the media size on which the image will be printed.
LETTER is the default setting for the Americas, and A4 is the
default setting for all other regions.

Specifies the media type on which the image will be printed.
LAYOUT Settings 1-UP / 2-UP / 3-UP / 4-UP /
6-UP / 8-UP
Specifies the number of images to be printed on a single sheet
of paper.
When set to 1-UP , only one image will be printed on a single
sheet of paper.
BRIGHT-
NESS Settings OFF / ON
Changes the density of colors.
When set to ON , images are printed even brighter.
SHARP-
NESS Settings OFF / ON
Changes the vividness of intermediate colors.
When set to ON , intermediate colors in images are printed
more vividly.
