Step 2: Insert a test strip.
Next, INSERT CODE 10 (for exam-
ple) STRIP appears. Slide a test strip
into the strip holder, notched end first,
with the test spot facing up. Make sure
you push the test strip in all the way
until it stops. After WAIT PLEASE, the
meter shows APPLY SAMPLE. You
then have 5 minutes to apply blood to
the test spot, otherwise the meter auto-
matically turns off.
