message DO YOU NEED A SNACK appears when your
blood glucose test is 60 mg/dL (3.3 mmol/L) or below, possi-
bly indicating hypoglycaemia, you may need food immediately.
Your blood glucose test result is 240 mg/dL (13.3 mmol/L).
The message CHECK KETONES appears when your blood
glucose test is above 240 mg/dL (13.3 mmol/L) and below
600 mg/dL (33.3 mmol/L).
You may need to check your urine for ketones.
