Chapter 5
The following procedure describes the general steps required
for printing from various Windows applications.
The steps for printing a document may vary depending on the
application program you are using.
Any changes you make in
the application apply while
it is running.

Start your application you are using to create the document,
and open the document you want to print.

After you have changed settings, click OK to start printing.

Select Print from the File menu.
● You can see the print dialog box for your application.
● The basic print settings you will need are usually selected
within this print dialog box.
● To take full advantage of the
printer features, click the
Properties button.
