Recording a trail in a roadless area. This hunter can retrace his path

from parking area to hunting stand even in the dark.

In the example figure above, a hunter is riding an all terrain vehicle

(ATV) from a parking area (waypoint 002, the car symbol) to a hunting

stand (waypoint 003). The hunter is first making his approach in day-

light and recording a trail which he will save. Then he can safely re-

trace his path through the woods before dawn and after dusk.
If you want to preserve a specific trail from Point A to Point B, you

should first create a new trail at Point A. Go to

trails have been deleted and a new trail is already started.)

The My Trails button on Menu 2 (left figure) calls up the Trails Menu

(right) where you can create, edit or delete trails.

When you arrive at Point B, stop recording and save the trail you just

made. This happens automatically when you start another trail with
