3.1.3 MegaRAID SATA 150-2
The MegaRAID SATA 150-2 RAID controller provides two Serial ATA
ports and supports RAID 0 and RAID 1 arrays. The SATA 150-2 does the
following:
•
Supports two Serial ATA channels:
– Uses differential signaling
– Transfers data in frames
– Supports Serial ATA power management
•
Complies with the PCI 2.2 Specification
•
Supports up to a 32-bit, 66 MHz PCI interface that:
– Functions in a 32-bit or 64-bit PCI slot
– Functions at 66 MHz or 33 MHz
– Supports 3.3 V and 5.0 V PCI signaling
– Is backward compatible with previous versions of the PCI
specification
•
Provides RAID support before operating system loads with the
MegaRAID configuration utility
J6 I 2 C connector, used as the interface for the
controller to communicate with a storage
enclosure processor
