Introduction
This user guide is for your Lenovo ® ThinkServer ® TS130 server (machine types 1098, 1100, 1105, and 1106).
This document contains the following information:
• Setting up and cabling the server
• Starting and configuring the server
• Installing options and replacing customer replaceable units (CRUs)
• Solving problems
The server comes with the ThinkServer EasyStartup DVD to help you configure the hardware, install device
drivers, and install the operating system.
The server comes with a limited warranty. For information about the terms of the warranty and getting service
and assistance, see the Warranty and Support Information at http://www.lenovo.com/support.
To obtain the most up-to-date information about the server and other Lenovo products, go to:

Record information about the server in the following table. You will need these information when you
register the server with Lenovo.
