Cable Adjustments and Maintenance, continued

1. Cable Tension

If you experience any of these cable problems, take
the following steps to reduce tension on the cables:

A. Place the Weight Pin in the Top Weight.

B. Place the Leg Press Support Arm in the upright

(non-extended) position.

C. Position the Multi-Hip Pivot Arm so the cable

remains centered between the two pulleys on the
Multi-Hip Upright.

D. Check that the Press Arm rests lightly on the

Bumper Pad and is positioned so it causes minimal
tension in the cable. If necessary, rotate the
Bumper Pad.

E. Adjust the threaded ends on the Single Floating

Pulleys so the amount showing is the same on
both pulleys. Retighten the jam nuts.

Note: You may need to loosen the jam nuts before
making adjustments.

F.

Adjust the Weight Stack threaded end. Retighten
the jam nuts.

CAUTION: For safety reasons, always make
sure to turn the screw three to four full turns
so that the threads are engaged inside the
Selector Stem or Floating Pulleys before
tightening the jam nuts.
