Cable Adjustments and Maintenance, continued

2. Cable Adjustments

You may need to adjust the cables after installation and
periodically thereafter. If the cables remain slack after
you have followed the steps found in

Cable Tension,

perform the following:

A. Loosen the jam nut on the Weight Stack threaded

end to expose additional threads. Adjust the
threaded end until the slack is removed.

B. Loosen the jam nuts on the Floating Pulleys

threaded ends. Adjust the threaded ends until the
slack is removed. Make sure the amount of threads
exposed on one pulley is about the same as the
other pulley.

C. Check the Top Cap Weight to make sure it remains

well-seated on the Weight Stack and then retighten
the jam nuts.

D. Check the Selector Stem alignment by inserting

the Weight Pin into every hole on the Weight Stack.
