Your phone has NO built-in headset functionality (no Headset button).

2 . Plug the short BLACK Phone Cable that
is pre-installed on the Headset Base into
the now-open handset port [ A] on the
desk phone.
1. Unplug the handset coil
cord from the desk phone
handset port [A], then plug it
into the GREEN labeled handset
port [B] on the Headset Base.
