es the strongest AF (Alternate Frequency) for recall
when revisiting an area. Enjoy simplified tuning and
data broadcast reception with selectable sensitivity
settings to compensate for "strong" urban signals and

Radio DSP – Crystal Clear Reception
Panasonic's Radio DSP is more than a digital reception-ready solution. Positioned between the tuner
and the amplifier, it provides a wide range of benefits including immunity to multipath signal interfer-
ence and pulse noise, signal conditioning, and improved acoustic effects. It also eliminates bothersome
interference from adjacent channels. The digital conversion technology combined with sophisticated
signal processing enhances the radio listening experience with superb clarity. Also users can choose
from three easy noise suppression presets for both FM and AM radio reception: Auto, Mid and Narrow,
or fine tune the IF filter in up to 16 steps for an ideal setting.

Panasonic’s Radio DSP features the THROUGH Mode. Found in our latest models, this FM Modulator
THROUGH Mode delivers even clearer reception from portable digital music players and other audio
devices equipped with FM transmission capability. The unique THROUGH Mode keeps the original
sound quality intact by negating the high-frequency compensation that is normally applied by the tuner.
