Timer Recording

You can enter up to 16 programs up to a month in advance.

• When connecting a cable TV box or satellite receiver, the VCR Plus+

system does not work. Program the timer recording manually. (pp. 40~41)

Using VCR Plus+ system

Entering VCR Plus+ number is an easy way of timer recording. You

can find these codes in TV listings in newspapers and magazines.

Press VCR Plus+.

Press NUMBER keys to enter the VCR Plus+

number.

• Press ◄ to move back to correct a digit.

ENTER.

• When “XP” is displayed in the unit’s display, the recording mode

automatically changes to “FR” in order to prevent loss of recording
when there is not enough space. Change to “XP” mode if you want to
set the timer recording using “XP” mode.

• Confirm the program and make corrections if necessary using

▲▼◄►. (See step 3 on next page.)

• You can also press REC MODE to change the recording mode.
To enter the title of the program

Press ◄► to select “Enter Name” and press ENTER. (p. 63)

Hold down STOP for a few seconds.

You can enter up to 16 programs up to a month in advance.

(Each daily or weekly program is counted as one program.)

• When connecting a cable TV box or satellite receiver, select the channel

on the cable TV box or satellite receiver before timer recording starts.

recording on it (p. 35). You can also confirm the disc information. (p. 60)

Caution for Timer recording

Timer recording automatically starts at the set time.
• Timer recording can be started whether the unit is turned on

or off. When the unit is turned off, the sound and the video

cannot be outputted to the TV.
