• It is not possible to play continuously from one side of a double sided disc

to the other. You will need to eject the disc and turn it over.

• When using 8 cm (3″) DVD-RAM, remove the disc from the cartridge.

Press OPEN/CLOSE on the unit to open the tray and

insert a disc. (p. 34)

• Press the button again to close the tray.

PLAY/×1.3.

• The unit takes some time to read the disc before play starts.

Play starts from the most recently recorded title.

Play starts from the beginning of the disc.

Playing Discs

To stop play

Press STOP.

Press STOP again to return to the television screen.

• When “PLAY” flashes on the Front Display, resume function is

active. (See below.)

• The screen saver may appear when you stop play. Press

STOP again and you can use this unit’s tuner to watch

television.

To pause play

Press PAUSE.
• Press again to restart play.

• Some items can also be selected using the NUMBER keys.

To return to the menu screen

: Press TOP MENU.

: Press TOP MENU or SUB MENU.

: Press RETURN.

To cancel the resume function (Normal play only)

Press STOP while the unit remembers the position. (The position

is also cleared when you turn the unit off.)
