CHAPTER 5 Moving and Managing Info Between Your Handheld and Your Computer
Using the palmOne Quick Install icon

Copy or download the application(s) or file(s) you want to install onto your
computer.

Drag and drop the files onto the Quick Install icon:
a. From My Computer or Windows Explorer, select the file(s) or folder that you
want to install.
b. Drag and drop the file(s) or folder onto the
Quick Install icon on the desktop.
c. Select your username and click OK.

Synchronize your handheld with your computer.
Done
Tip
You can also install files
on your handheld by
right-clicking them on
your computer. Select
Send To palmOne Quick
Install, and the files are
placed on your handheld
the next time you
synchronize.
Tip
If there are still files in the
list after you synchronize,
they were not installed.
Open the application
associated with this file,
and then synchronize
again.
