Checking the PC's IP Address and MAC Address
When this product's setup page cannot be accessed by a PC, or when data cannot not be sent/
received to/from other PCs on the network, there could be a problem with the PC's IP address settings.
Take the following steps to check the IP address settings.
4.6.1
Using Windows XP/2000
Note
The ipconfig command explanations are displayed by entering "ipconifg/?" after the command
prompt.
1.
From the Start menu, select All programs,
Accessories and Command Prompt.
•
When using Windows 2000, from the Start
menu, select Programs, Accessories and
Command Prompt.
2.
Enter "ipconifg/all" after the command prompt
and push the [Enter] key.
•
"ipconfig/renew" refreshes all of the LAN
cards' DHCP composition parameters.
•
"ipconfig/release" releases all of the LAN
cards' DHCP composition parameters.
