HARDWARE KIT
Carefully unpack the parts from the shipping container. Open the Hardware kit
and make sure that you have the following items as shown in Diagram 1:
(A) four socket hex screws—clamp covers
(B) eight set screws—handrail assembly
(C) 1/8" hex key—set screws on handrail assembly
(E) 3/16" hex key—screws on the clamp covers
Upper and lower clamp covers (not shown in Diagram 1)

If any items are missing, contact your dealer. For the Precor authorized dealer
or servicer nearest you, call 1-888-665-4404.
Note: After assembling the EFX, be sure to store the hex keys in a secure place.
The tools are used for specific maintenance procedures that are described in this
manual.
ACQUIRE THE APPROPRIATE TOOLS
Obtain the following tools
before assembling the EFX.
Wire cutter
SAE Standard socket set with a ratchet or 8" crescent wrench
3/32" Hex Torque wrench
