Allows you to enter or change the name
of the selected profile. Press

Allows you to visualise all parameters of
the selected profile (ISP number, APN,
etc.), either
GSM or GPRS .
GSM settings
Allows you to enter or change the GSM
settings and gives you access to the fol-
lowing items:
Login and Password allow you to enter the login and
password needed. In both cases, enter the information
and press

to confirm.
Phone Number allows you to enter the phone number
needed to establish a connection. Select Phone numbers
and press

, then press

or

to select:
- ISDN No. to enter an ISDN ISP number, OR
- Analogic No. to enter an analogic number.
In both cases, enter the «+» sign followed by the
number provided by your operator and press

Contact your operator to know what type of number
you should select.
Inactivity time allows you to enter an inactivity time pe-
riod after which the phone automatically disconnects
(if a connection was in progress) and returns to idle
screen. Select

GPRS settings
This allows you to change the GPRS set-
tings,

(the same fields and the same instruc-
tions as for GSM settings, please refer to the previous

APN allows you to enter the address of the external data
network you want to connect to, a text string (or IP ad-
dress, e.g., wap.operatorname.fr) used to establish the
connection. Select

Error messages during connections are mainly due to
incorrect parameters: you should contact your operator
before first use, in order to have the appropriate set-
tings. With some operators, the access parameters can
be set remotely. Please check with your operator.
