Lubrication

Front Suspension

Lubricate the steering post U-joint with

engine fogging oil at the intervals outlined in

the maintenance charts beginning on page 90.

Lubricate the U-joint after seasonal storage as

well as before seasonal storage. See page 130

for the part numbers of Polaris products.

The front suspension does not require lubrica-

tion.

Rear Suspension

Lubricate the suspension pivot shafts with Polaris Premium All Season

Grease at 500 miles (800 km) initially, every 1000 miles (1600 km) after

that, and before off-season storage each year. Lack of lubrication will

adversely affect your ride and the life of the suspension. For more infor-

mation about suspension lubrication and adjustments, see your Polaris

dealer.
