FEATURES AND CONTROLS

Fuel Tank

The fuel tank filler cap (1) is located directly below the handlebar.

Refuel with either leaded or unleaded gasoline with a minimum of 87

octane.

WARNING

S

Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive under certain

conditions.

S

Use extreme caution whenever handling gasoline.

S

Refuel with the engine stopped. Refuel outdoors or in a well

ventilated area.

S

Never fill a fuel container while it’s in the cargo box. Static

electricity between the box and container could cause a spark.

S

Do not smoke or allow open flames or sparks in or near the

area where refueling is performed or where gasoline is stored.

S

Do not overfill the tank. Do not fill the tank neck.

S

If gasoline spills on your skin or clothing, immediately wash it off

with soap and water and change clothing.

S

Turn the fuel valve off whenever the vehicle is stored or parked.

Fuel Valve

The fuel valve (2) is located on the left side panel.

OFF
Turn the valve off before storage and when

transporting.

ON
Turn the valve on for normal

operation.

RES
Turn the valve to the reserve setting if

the main fuel supply is exhausted.

Refuel as soon as possible. Reserve

fuel range is about 11-16 km.

NOTE: Return the valve to the ON

position after refueling.
