1) Personal computer

Provide a Windows-compatible personal
computer (PC) with the following performance
specifications:

• Pentium III

: 500 MHz or higher

• Memory size: 64MB or more
• Network interface card

2) Operating system

Provide any of the following versions of Windows:

• Windows 98

• Windows ME
• Windows 2000

3) Browser software

Provide one of the following browsers in the
versions specified:

• Internet Explorer 5.5
• Netscape 4.7

An adequate picture tracing performance will
not be achieved if the PC’s performance is too

[3] Installation and settings at the PC end

Install one of the recommended versions of Windows in the PC.
Follow the instructions provided with the Windows version concerned.

Install one of the recommended browsers by following the instructions provided with the software
concerned.

First, set the IP address of the WEB card. Set the IP address at the PC end as described on the
following page in order to make the connection with the PC in the WEB card’s initial setting status.
