To determine caller ID information with Soft Keys
If your organization does not receive caller ID information
from your phone service provider, your system can be set
up to ask callers to enter their phone number before their
call is transferred to your extension. See your system man-
ager for more information.
Depending on your phone system, you can use Soft Keys
on your phone to determine caller ID information, if avail-
able. Or, you can press touchtone keys. See “
To determine
caller ID information with touchtone keys ” on page 60.
U SING S OFT K EYS
1 Call the voice messaging system. If asked, enter your personal ID
and security code.
2 To hear new messages, press the Soft Key below the NEW option
on the phone display. To hear old messages, press the Soft Key
below the OLD option on the phone display.
3 After listening to a message, press the Soft Key below the CID
option on the phone display. If available, the system plays the
phone number associated with the message.
