3.8 Electrical connection
! Draw out the temperature selection
button, release the screws, and take off
the under-cap

If 1 or 2 are changed over,
disconnection from the mains supply

! Following electrical connection, the
following steps are to be taken:
1. The unit rating plate is to be marked as
follows using a ball-point pen:
Place a cross in the box which
corresponds to the connection power
supply and voltage.
2. Plug the 5 pole connector of the
connecting cable (32) into the
„control unit“ electronic module (20),
position „X2“

3. Fit lower cap and secure with screws.

Fill the unit, deaerate it, and
flush it through thoroughly.

– temperature limitation „off“
! At temperatures of below - 15 ºC ( e.g.
transportation/storage) the safety thermal
cut-out may trip. Press the reset button
( D 21).

3.10 Maintenance
! When carrying out any work, disconnect
all poles from the mains supply.
! Check the safety group regularly.
Further notes on the unit:
! Descale the element only after
dismantling. Do not treat the reservoir
surface and parasitic current anode with
descaling agents.
! Safety device :
Observe immersion depth J of the
safety thermal cut-out.
! Draining the storage water heater
cylinder: Before draining the cylinder,
disconnect the unit from the mains supply.
– Close the isolating valve in the cold
water feed line.
– Open the hot water fittings fully at all
draw-off points.
– Unscrew the cap from the drainage
nozzle ( D 25).
Hot water may come out during
draining.
! The corrosion protection resistor K on
the insulating plate must not be damaged
or removed during servicing work. When
replacing the corrosion protection resistor
the assembly is to be re-established in the
correct manner.
