2.2.2 Mounting and connecting the GPS receiver

Caution: The mounted GPS receiver must not impede the
driver’s attention on traffic.

Connecting the GPS
receiver...

1. Place the GPS receiver horizontally under the windscreen, as

far forwards as possible.

Note: The reception of GPS-signals may be obstructed by

windscreen heating wires, by a windscreen aerial, or when the
windscreen is moralised. In this case, you might use an

external vehicle antenna, which may be obtained from our
support team, from our online-shop, or from your specialised
dealer.

2. Plug the connection cable of the GPS receiver to the

respective socket of the adapter, which connects the Pocket
PC to the power supply.

3. Plug the jack of the adapter into the socket of the cigarette

lighter.

4. Turn the GPS receiver on.

2.2.3 Installing the Bluetooth module

Bluetooth module

If you have purchased the Bluetooth module together with your
GPS-receiver, it was inserted and has been set up during the

installation procedure.
In case you have purchased it as a supplement proceed as
described in "Bluetooth module", page 121.
