Congratulations on your choice of a Nikon RIFLESCOPE. Your new scope is the
finest example of Nikon's rugged and durable construction and precision bright
optics; important qualities for a serious shooter's riflescope.
Whether you use your scope for hunting or for target shooting, the procedure
for mounting is identical. You should acquire a set of high quality steel mount-
ing rings which have a standard diameter of 25.4 mm (1 inch). Follow the ring
manufacturer's instructions for mounting procedures. After mounting the scope
on your rifle, follow the procedures for reticle alignment.
Caution
(1) Do not look at the sun through the riflescope. It will permanently dam-
age your eye. This precaution applies to all optical devices such as cam-
eras and binoculars.
(2) The riflescope is effectively sealed against moisture and dust. You may
use your scope safely either in the rain or in dusty climates. To preserve
the appearance of the scope, we suggest that it be dried and cleaned
prior to storage. Use a soft cloth for cleaning metal surfaces and use
photographic lens tissue to clean the scope's lenses.
When setting the reticle for hunting, you should determine your standard range
and then adjust the reticle based upon that target distance. For targets which
vary from that standard distance you may simply adjust the position of the reti-
cle in relation to your target, or you may wish to use the procedure for trajectory
compensation. It's up to your personal preference.

Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Kauf eines Nikon RIFLESCOPE. Ihr neues Zielfer-
nrohr zeichnete sich durch die robuste und haltbare Konstruktion ebenso wie
die lichtstarke Präzisionsoptik von Nikon aus; wichtige Eigenschaften für ein
hochwertiges Zielfernrohr.
Egal ob Sie das Zielfernrohr zur Jagd oder zum Scheibenschießen verwenden,
das Anbringungsverfahren ist gleich. Sie sollten einen Satz Stahlmontageringe
guter Qualität mit Standarddurchmsser von 25,4 mm besorgen. Nach de
Anbringen des Zielfernrohrs am Gewehr folgen Sie den Verfahren zur
Fadenkreuz-Ausrichtung.
Achtung
(1) Blicken Sie niemals durch das Zielfernrohr in die Sonne. Dabei besteht
die Gefahr permanenter Augenschäden. Die gleiche Vorsichtsmaßregel
gilt auch für alle anderen optischen Geräte wie Kameras und Ferngläser.
(2) Das Zielfernrohr ist wirksam gegen Feuchtigkeit und Staub abgedichtet.
Sie können das Zielfernrohr sicher sowohl im Regen als auch in
staubiger Umgebung verwenden. Um das gute Aussehen es Zielfern-
rohrs zu bewehren, raten wir, es vor der Lagerung zu trocknen und zu
reinigen. Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung von Metalloberflächen ein
weiches Tuch und zur Reinigung der Objektivlinsen sauberes Objek-
tivreinigungspapier.
Beim Einstellen des Fadenkreuzes zur Jagd sollten Sie die Standardentfernung
bestimmen und dann das Fadenkreuz basierend auf dieser Zielentfernung
justieren. Bei Zielen, die von der Standardentfernung abweichen, können Sie
dann einfach die Position des Fadenkreuzes in Beziehung zum Ziel nachstellen
oder Sie können dem Verfahren zur Flugbahnkorrektur folgen, je nach
persönlichem Geschmack.

Für die voranstehend beschriebenen Produkte bestehen in einigen Ländern

lunette représente le plus bel exemple d'instrument d'optique de construction
solide et durable et de precision de Nikon, qualites importantes pour la lunette
de visée d'un tireur sérieux.
Que vous utilisiez votre lunette pour la chasse ou pour le tir à la cible, la
procédure de montage est la même. Vous devrez vous procurer un jeu de
bagues de montage d'acier de haute qualité d'un diamètre standard de 25,4 mm
(1 pouce). Pour le montage, suivez les instructions du fabricant des bagues.
Après avoir monté la lunette de visée sur votre fusil, réglez l'alignement du
réticule (croisée de fils) comme suit.
Précautions
(1) Ne regardez pas le soleil par la lunette de visée. Vous vous endom-
mageriez irrémédiablement la vue. Cette précaution s'applique à tous les
instruments d'optique, comme les appareils photo et les jumelles.
(2) La lunette de visée est étanche contre l'humidité et la poussière. Vous
pourrez utiliser votre lunette de visée en toute sécurité sous la pluie et
dans les environnements poussiéreux. Pour conserver l'extérieur de la
lunette en bon état, nous vous suggérons de la sécher et de la nettoyer
avant de la ranger. Utilisez un chiffon doux pour nettoyer les parties
métalliques, et utilisez des papiers pour objectif photo pour nettoyer les
lentilles de la lunette.
Pour régler le réticule pour la chasse, vous devrez tout d'abord déterminer la
portée standard, puis réglez le réticule sur la base de cette distance de cible.
Pour des cibles qui débordent de cette distance standard, vous pouvez régler
simplement la position du réticule par rapport à la cible, ou bien vous pouvez
aussi effectuer une correction de trajectoire, à votre choix.

Advertencia

migliore esempio della costruzione robusta e durevole e della luminosa ottica
di precisione di Nikon, qualità importanti per il mirino dei tiratori seri.
Sia che si usi il mirino per la caccia sia per il tiro al bersaglio, il procedimento
di montaggio è identico. Procurarsi una serie di anelli di montaggio in acciaio
di buona qualità con un diametro standard di 25,4 mm. Seguire le istruzioni del
fabbricante degli anelli per i procedimenti di montaggio. Dopo aver montato il
mirino sul fucile, procedere come segue per allineare il reticolo.
Cautela
(1) Non guardare il sole attraverso il mirino. Questo causa danni permanenti
alla vista. Questa precauzione vale per tutti i dispositivi ottici come foto-
camere e binocoli.
(2) Il mirino è effettivamente sigillato come protezione da umidità e polvere.
Si può usare il mirino in sicurezza sia sotto la pioggia che in luoghi
polverosi. Per proteggere l'aspetto del mirino, consigliamo di asciugarlo
e pulirlo prima di riporlo. Usare un panno morbido per la pulizia delle
superfici metalliche e carta di pulizia per obiettivi fotografici per pulire le
lenti del mirino.
Quando si imposta il reticolo per la caccia, stabilire il proprio raggio normale e
quindi regolare il reticolo in base a quella distanza dal bersaglio. Per i bersagli
che si trovano a distanze diverse da quella normale, si può regolare semplice-
mente la posizione del reticolo in rapporto al bersaglio o si può usare il pro-
cedimento di compensazione della traiettoria, come si preferisce.
