Choosing the Desired SSID and Uploading Pictures

Choose the desired SSID.

SSIDs (up to ten) are listed in order of signal strength.
The icon to the left of each SSID is displayed in red
when out of range.
The icon to the right of each SSID shows the status of
the network profile registered to each SSID:
Z

(home wireless LAN profile configured),

-- (no profile configured)

Press d.

The message shown at right will be displayed, and
connection will be attempted with the selected SSID.
If the selected SSID is not configured with the
camera, or connected for the first time, the WEP key
entry screen may be displayed. Enter the WEP key
required for connection (c 127).
The screens for connecting to the server, and for uploading pictures to the server,
will be displayed in order. To cancel upload, press d. When upload is complete,
the message, [Transfer complete. Connection terminated.], will be displayed. After
upload is complete, press d*.

* Once upload of all pictures, which is initiated by connecting the AC adapter, is

complete, the camera turns off and the battery begins charging.

Register user information with my Picturetown.

When pictures are uploaded using Picture Mail or Picture Bank for the first time, e-
mail notification requesting user registration will be sent to the sender e-mail
address registered with the camera. Refer to the instructions included in the e-mail
notification received to register user information using a computer as soon as
possible (c 148).
