If you disable the DHCP server in the Modem you will need to either manually (stati-
cally) assign IP address information to each computer or use another device/com-
puter as DHCP server.

Note: It is not recommended that you have more than one DHCP server enabled

on your network.

Option

Description

Server On:

Enables the DHCP server.

Start IP:

Sets the start IP address of the IP ad-
dress pool.

End IP:

Sets the end IP address of the IP ad-
dress pool.

Lease time:

The lease time is the amount of time an
IP address issued by the DHCP service
of your modem is valid before being
updated. If all fields are 0, the allocated
IP address will be effective indefinitely.

Enable DHCP Relay:

Allow PCs on LAN to request IP address
from other DHCP server.

It is possible to set the services for an interface by clicking on the hyperlink which
will take you to the page to configure them. Please refer to the relevant section in
this manual for information on the settings for these services.
