If
High (high pitch) or Low (low pitch) is selected, a beep will sound
at the selected pitch while the self-timer is active or when the
camera focuses using single-servo AF. Note that a beep will not
sound when the camera focuses during movie recording or in
quiet-shutter release mode (mode
J) or if
Release is selected for
Custom Setting a2 (
AF-S priority selection, 0 264).
c appears in the control panel and
information display when the beep is on.
Choose
On to display on-demand grid lines
in the viewfinder for reference when
composing photographs.
Choose
On to display a low battery icon (d)
in the viewfinder when the battery is low.
