1. Press MENU.

Home Area Code
If you dial local calls using only seven digits (area code not required), program
your home area code so that when you receive a call within your local area, the
telephone number automatically appears without the area code.
1. Press MENU.
2. Select
Area Code
.
3. Press SELECT. The area code flashes.
4. Use the number keys to enter the desired home
area code.
5. Press SELECT to confirm. You will hear a
confirmation tone.
6. Press MENU or return the handset to the base.

Note: Press DEL/CH when in the Home Area Code Menu to cancel the
programmed home area code.
