Installing the Printer Hard Disk Type505

Note
❒ For this printer, use only Printer
Hard Disk Type505.

Check the contents of the box for
the following items.
• Printer Hard Disk Type505
• Installation Guide
• Screws (3 pcs)

Turn off the printer's power
switch and remove all cables and
cords from the printer.

Remove screws and remove the
back plate.
Note
❒ A coin can be used to remove
the screws.

Make sure that the projection of
the connector of the hard disk is
on the top. Attach the connector to
the slot while holding the hard
disk.

Set the hard disk in the lower left
corner at the rear of the printer, as
shown in the illustration. Make
sure that the screw holes of the
hard disk align with the screw
holes of the printer. And fasten it
with the screws that are enclosed
in the box using the screw driver.
• Make sure to turn off the printer
and wait for about 30 minutes
before installing options. Not
waiting for the printer to cool
down can result in a burn.
