LOG SET INSTALLATION

Installation of Brick Panels must be completed before installing the log set.

Read the instructions below carefully and refer to the images. If the
logs are broken do not use the unit until they are replaced. Broken
logs can interfere with pilot operation.

Improper positioning of the logs may create carbon build-up and can
alter the unit's performance which is not covered under warranty.

Log kit # 547-930 contains the following pieces:

The reference numbers (i.e. A) are molded

into the rear of each log.

Carefully remove the logs from it's packaging and unwrap them. The

logs are fragile, handle with care - do not force into position.

Spread vermiculite along the base of the fi rebox.

Place rock wool inbetween the burner tubes and cover the front burner

tube by pulling rock wool apart and loosely place as shown. Also
place a small amount of rock wool between the log support and the
rear of the burner tube. DO NOT block the air inlet or buner ports.

4)

Separate platinum embers and place over top of the rock wool on

the front burner tube. Avoid stacking platinum embers.
