Lock the waste toner bottle.

❒ Be sure to lock the waste toner
bottle to prevent toner from
leaking inside the printer.

Lower the inner cover slowly.

Push the green levers to fasten the
inner cover.

Close the right cover.

Turn on the power.

Make the setting from the control
panel.
When "Replace Transfer Belt"
Appears on the Panel Display
A If the following message is on
the control panel, press the
{{{{Es-
cape
}}}} key for more than five
seconds. The message disap-
pears and a maintenance reset
is performed automatically.
When "Replace Transfer Belt
Soon" Appears on the Panel
Display
A Press the {{{{Menu}}}} key.
"Menu" appears on the panel
display.
B Press the {{{{U U U U}}}} or {{{{T T T T}}}} key to dis-
play "Maintenance", and then
press the
{{{{Enter #}}}} key.
