ADVANCED SETTINGS

To set a number to be barred

1. Follow the above procedures to enter the CALL BARRING

menu.

2. Scroll

[ ] or [ ] to NUMBER. Press [

].

3. If necessary, scroll [ ] or [ ] to the next available slot.

4. Press

[

] and enter the number or prefi x you want to bar.

Press [

] to confi rm.

5. Press

[

] to return to standby.

To set the PIN

The 4-digit master PIN is used when registering or unregistering
a handset and when changing some settings on your Slim. The
default setting is 0000. You can change this PIN for more security.

1. Press

[

], scroll [ ] or [ ] to ADVANCED SET and press

[

].

2. Scroll

[ ] or [ ] to PIN. Press [

].

3. Enter the current 4 digit master PIN and press [

].

(Default setting 0000).

4. Enter the new PIN and press [

].

NOTE

Make a note of your PIN. If you forget your PIN you will need to reset your product.

To Reset your Phone

This will reset your Phone to its default settings.

1. Press

[

], scroll [ ] or [ ] to ADVANCED SET and press

[

].

2. Scroll

[ ] or [ ] to RESET UNIT. Press [

].

3. CONFIRM? is displayed. Press [

].

NOTE

Entries stored in the phonebook and new answering machine messages are
retained.

Auto prefi x

You can set the Slim to detect a dialling number and replace it with
another number. The number to be detected can be up to 5 digits
long. It can be replaced with a number up to 10 digits.

1. Press

], scroll [ ] or [ ] to ADVANCED SET and press

[

].

2. Scroll

[ ] or [ ] to PREFIX. Press [

].

3. DETECT DIGIT is displayed. Press [

].

4. Enter the number you want to be detected (up to 5 digits) and

press [

].

5. Scroll

to

PREFIX NUM. and press [

].
