PRACTICAL ADVICES

Always use dishes for use in the microwave oven
and a lid or cover to avoid loss of liquids.

The oven produces very high temperatures.
Always use dishes that are suitable for
microwaving and heat resistant e.g. baking
dishes.

Stir or mix the foods several times during heating,
especially when the oven emits a beep and the
display shows a flashing symbol .

The time required to heat the food will depend on
its initial temperature. Food taken straight from
the fridge will take longer to heat up than food that
is at room temperature. If the food temperature is
not what is wanted, select a greater or lesser
weight next time you heat up the food.

After heating, stir the food or shake the container
and then leave the food to stand for some time to
allow the temperature to become homogen
throughout the food.

Add 1 – 3 soup spoons of water or lemon juice.

Add water equivalent to two twice quantity of rice.

Use potatoes of the same size. Wash them and
prick the skin several times.

Cut into pieces of the same size. Add a soup
spoon of water for every 100 g of vegetables, and
salt to taste.

Attention! After heating the container may be very
hot. Although microwaves do not heat up most
containers, these may heat up through heat
transmission from food.
