Programs

You can switch from one program to another by selecting it from the

menu. (You

can customize which programs you see on this menu. For information, see “Adjusting

Settings,” later in this chapter.) To access programs not listed on the drop down menu,

tap , Programs, then the program name.
You can also switch to certain programs by pressing a program button. Your Toshiba

Pocket PC has 5 program buttons located on the front or the side of the Toshiba

Pocket PC. The icons on the buttons on the front of the unit identify the programs they

activate. Factory set programs are (from left to right) Calendar, Tasks, Home and

Contacts. The program button on the side is Notes for voice recording.

Some programs have abbreviated labels for check boxes and drop-down menus. To

see the full spelling of an abbreviated label, tap and hold the stylus on the label. Drag

the stylus off the label so that the command is not carried out.
The 5 program buttons on your Toshiba Pocket PC are programmable to activate

other programs than the preset programs.
