DESCRIPTION OF THE DEVICE

Please check the contents of the packaging, which in addition to the

appliance should contain the following accessories:

• 1 VRC-123 remote control

• 2 AA (LR6) batteries)

• 1 power cable

• 1 loop antenna

• 1 FM (VHF) wire antenna

• this manual

The Vincent SV-123 is a powerful and easy to use
stereo-RDS-receiver. It is the ideal partner for
Vincent loudspeakers and stereo source equip-
ment. Its casing houses advanced circuit enginee-
ring, which makes music into an experience and,
using overall solutions comprised of coordinated
Vincent components, can turn high quality materi-
al up to its highest level. Thanks to the careful
design of its circuitry, the familiar solid mechani-
cal build and the energy reserves from the power
supply, explosive pieces of music are mastered
just as much as quiet passages full of feeling, set-
ting new standards in value for money.
Exceptional dynamism and the familiar musicality
of Vincent audio appliances are thus introduced to
compact stereo systems.

1. Display

In normal operation shows either the name of
the selected input channel or frequency and
RDS information of the radio stationed it is
tuned to. In tuner mode additional information
about the operation mode is shown.

2. INPUT:

Button to select the input channel
This is used to select the different input channels.

3. LOUD:

Loudness sound correction
Activates the loudness, which which will boost
high an low frequencies at low volume setting.

4. VOLUME: Volume control dial

This knob is used to set the overall volume of
the system and so controls the volume of the
loudspeakers, the headphones and the stereo's
pre-output “PRE”.

5. POWER: Mains switch

Switches the appliance on and off.

6. Tuner control keys

Numerical keypad and other function keys for
operating the RDS tuner. See Chapter
“Operating the appliance - Tuner”.

7. TREBLE:

Sound control for the high notes
Allows the sound's treble to be raised or
lowered.

8. BASS:

Sound control for the low notes
Allows the sound's bass to be raised or
lowered.

9. PHONES:

Connection socket for a set of

headphones

If required, connect a set of headphones here
using a 6.3 mm stereo jack.
Min. impedance: 32 ohms.

The appliance includes:

• an RDS tuner with a 30-station memory for

each of the frequency bands (AM, FM)

• a clear, high-contrast display
• sufficient power for most types of speakers
• remote control ability on all important

functions

• a headphone socket
• audio input sockets which allow up to

5 stereo sources to be connected

• a pre-amplifier output socket for the stereo

signal (PRE Out)

• an audio output socket (stereo) for a

recording device (REC Out)
