NT Quota Format and Rules
When setting up the NT “quota.conf” file, each entry must
consist of the group/user name, a Tab space, and quota
criteria. A zero (0) should be used if no Overall Quota
minutes are included. For example:
Admin 0, TICKET:15, TRAVEL:15, AUTO:15
Sales 20, PARNML:10, RELIG:10
Tech 15, GNEWS:15, SPORTS:5, TRAFIC:10
When translated, these strings of code mean:
• NT quota profile for “Admin”: No Overall Quota minutes;
15 quota minutes for each category listed.
• NT quota profile for “Sales”: 20 Overall Quota minutes;
10 quota minutes for each category listed.
• NT quota profile for “Tech”: 1 5 Overall Quota minutes; 15
quota minutes for the first category listed, 5 quota
minutes for the second category, and 10 quota minutes
for the third category.
