Connecting the Touch Monitor

CAUTION

You are cautioned that any change or modification to the equipment not expressly approved by
the party responsible for compliance could void your authority to operate such equipment.

The M170 comes with the cables already connected (with the exception of the audio
cable), however, there may be times when you need to reconnect these cables for some
reason. To connect the M170 FPD monitor:

1. Turn off your computer. You should always turn off the computer before connecting or

disconnecting any device.

to the video card in your computer.

3. Connect one end of the touch screen cable (either serial or USB) to the FPD. Connect the

other end to an available port on the back of your computer. If you are using a USB
connection, make sure you have installed the TouchWare drivers prior to connecting the
touch screen cable.
