During Calls
The MD Evolution Communication Platform allows you to handle
calls in many different ways. You can make an inquiry, transfer the
call or create a conference, mute the microphone and ringer,
change the dial mode or put the call on hold to perform other
tasks.
Handsfree Speaking
You can switch to handsfree speaking (and back to standard
speaking procedure) at any time during a call. ¼
Press to switch handsfree speaking on or off.
During handsfree speaking, you are connected to the caller via the
loudspeaker and microphone.
Mute Microphone
To mute the microphone, during an ongoing conversation: ½
Press.
The caller will not hear the conversation in your room. A signal and
the microphone muted icon indicate that the microphone is off. ½
Press again to turn the microphone on.
Note: It is recommended to use this feature instead of
putting a call on hold. A call on hold may be diverted to your
operator, directly or after some time.
