Menu Item Description
Delete Media Server Deletes the media server view in the Media Servers
window.
Modify Media Server
Description Opens the Media Server Modification window allowing to
update the label or description of the media server.
Media File Cleaner Opens the Media File Cleaner window. Refer to section 12
‘Media File Cleaner’ on page 124 for more information.
A contextual menu is available when you select a folder in the list and then right-
click:

New Media Server Adds a media server storage: displays the folders present
in the path selected for use as media server.
Default ‘Folder Name
Files’ Directory Sets the selected folder as default folder for the type of
files (bitmaps, video files, thumbnails etc…). The folder
icon is then green.
This is only necessary when multiple storage servers are
created in the system. This tells the system to use a
specific storage server for some files and another server
for other files. The Default folders may be changed at any
time without losing previously stored material.
Example: for the HIRES folder, the option is Default
‘HiResFiles’ Directory and sets the HIRES folder as
default for the hi-res files.
Delete Media
Directory
Removes the media folder from the Media Servers
window.
Collect Media Displays the list of media present in the selected folder.
Media File Cleaner Opens the Media File Cleaner window. Refer to section 12
‘Media File Cleaner’ on page 124 for more information.
