Right-clicking a grid element displays the playlist element contextual menu.
This menu makes it possible to perform actions on the following topics:
• Removing elements
• Defining or resetting playout effects such as: audio/video effect, still/start mode
(e.g.Jump-on time), speed
• Managing Partial Loop
• Inserting items other than clips such as train, tag, comment
• Inserting a linked clip
• Inserting / modifying black clips
• Grouping elements
All these functions are described in details in sections 1.5 ‘Playlist Editing’ on
page 42 and 1.6 ‘Playout Effects and Parameters’ on page 56.

The selection of elements in a playlist follows the selection rules applicable in any
Windows-based application.
