In order to slide the stabilizer bar out, you will need to remove the X-brace
and heat shield near the middle of the bar to give you more room. First,
remove the X-brace by removing the 4 bolts on each end using a 15mm
socket
. Detach the heat shield from the engine block by removing 2 bolts
on the driver side with a 18mm socket and 1 bolt on the passenger side
using a 15mm socket. You do not have to detach wiring from the heat
shield. Just let the heat shield hang down and out of the way.

7)

Now that your stock stabilizer bar can move more freely, you can slide the
bar out towards the passenger side. You will need to rotate the bar 180
degrees so that the ends are facing towards the front. This may require a
little patience, so take your time.

8)

Once you remove the stock stabilizer bar, place it next to your new
Hotchkis Performance Stabilizer bar for orientation comparison. Position
the Hotchkis bar accordingly so you can install it into the car in the same
manner.

9)

After your Hotchkis bar is in position, use the same slide technique to
install the stock end links to the stabilizer bar. Fully tighten the end link
nuts.

10)

Reinstall the heat shield and X-brace in reverse order.
