MSD 7551 Launch Rev Limiter Switch Box Installation - Manual

The Manual Launch Control is designed
to be mounted within reach of the driver
so the launch rpm can be adjusted easily.
It can be left connected to the MSD
Programmable Digital-7 Ignition.
The Launch rpm setting can be adjusted
manually in 100 rpm increments from
1,000 – 10,900 rpm with the two control
dials. Adjustments can be made with the
engine running or with the ignition On.
1. Connect the Manual Launch Control
to the MSD Ignition with the 9-Pin
Harness.
2. When the ignition is turned On, the
LED will blink then remain On.
3. When either rpm control dial is rotated,
the LED will blink once indicating that
the new value has been programmed
and accepted in the Ignition. If the
LED continues to blink, that indicates
a faulty switch position or connection.
Note: When disconnected, the last
launch rpm limit set will be
programmed into the ignition.
