IMPORTANT: Read instructions before attempting the installation.
Parts Included:
1 - Blaster Dodge Coil
WARNING: During installation, disconnect the battery cables. When disconnecting the battery,
always remove the Negative cable first and install it last.
The MSD Blaster Dodge Coil is designed as a replacement coil and produces a high voltage
spark. To get even more ignition performance, install an MSD Ignition Control. To ease the wiring
with an MSD Ignition, use the Universal Harness, PN 8873.
1. Disconnect the stock coil connector and the spark plug wire.
2. Remove the two mounting bolts and remove coil.
3. Install the new MSD Dodge Coil.
4. Plug in the wiring harness and connect the coil wire.
WARNING: High Voltage is present on the coil terminals. DO NOT touch the coil terminals or
tower when the engine is cranking or running.
