2.2 RS485 / RS422 Wiring Guidelines
• Do not run more than one cable through the strain relief bushing.
• Do not use the cable that connects to the RS485 / RS422 pc board to make other
connections.
• Twisted pair shielded cable is recommended.
• The strain relief bushing
allows a cable diameter from 2 to 6 mm (0.08 to 0.23
in.).
• The terminal block on the RS485 / RS422 pc board allows a wire size of 0.14 to
1.5 mm

(26 to 16 AWG). Strip the wire ends to 6 mm (0.25 inch).
